Coast Guard Declares Conditions at Barnegat and Little Egg Inlets as Unsafe

BARNEGAT LIGHT-The U.S. Coast Guard today is advising boaters to stay off the water today after conditions at Ocean County’s two southern Ocean access points have gone from bad to worse.

“Conditions on Barnegat Inlet and Little Egg Inlet are worsening as Winter Storm Toby develops off of the Jersey Coast,” the Coast Guard said. “All mariners are advised to stay at the docks until the seas subside.”
