Brick Firefighters Rescue Cats from Kitchen Fire

BRICK-On Monday, the Brick Township fire departments responded to District 2 for a reported working structure fire. Members located a fire in the kitchen and contained and extinguished. During primary and secondary searches two cats were located and safely removed from the residence. Cats were taken to veterinary office as a precaution. No reported injuries to any people. The fire is under the investigation of the Brick Police Department and the Brick Township Bureau of Fire Safety.
