Jackson Police Save Man Who Turned Blue from Overdose

JACKSON TOWNSHIP,NJ- On Sunday, Police Officers Andy Falzarano and Chris Kelly were dispatched to a residence on Cassville Road on the report of a 40 year old male who was suffering from an overdose. Officers received no answer at the door and forced entry to the residence to locate the victim but nobody was located inside the residence.

A call was made to the original caller who advised he had left the scene and it was able to be determined that the house was actually located on Toms River Road, not Cassville Road. Officers then responded to the Toms River Road address and located the male laying on the front lawn and observed he was turning a blue color and was having difficulty breathing and foaming from the mouth.

Narcan was administered to the male and he was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
