Berkeley Mayor Amato Receives Recognition Award from VFW

BERKELEY – For his service and support of township veterans,  the Berkeley Township based Veterans of Foreign Wars Silver Ridge Park Westerly Memorial Post 8352 honored Mayor Carmen F. Amato, Jr. for his dedication and support of the local veteran community.

“I am humbled and honored to receive this award from the VFW Post 8352 who have some of greatest generation as members. I thank all of them and all of our veterans for answering the call to serve our country,” Amato said.    The award was presented by Post Commander Joseph Buttros and former Post Commander Peter Smith.
