Brick Township Mayor Invites Public to Join in Opening of New Skatepark, Basketball Court, Playground

BRICK-Mayor John Ducey and the Township Council invite you to join them for the ribbon cutting and official grand opening of the Bernie Cooke Park on Thursday, May 23 at 5pm. The new park has a multi-purpose field with an infield for baseball/softball, a basketball court, a concrete skate park, two age-appropriate playgrounds for children up to 12 years of age, a bicycle training course for young people and a walking/jogging path.

The 5th Pocket Skateparks Crew will be on hand doing an open skating session and will be giving away cool stuff.

Bernie Cooke Park is the sixth park renovated under Mayor Ducey and the town council’s Park Improvement Program.
