ASBURY PARK-Just after midnight on August 23rd the APFD responded to single car MVA with vehicle into Deal Lake in front of 510 Deal Lake Dr. Upon arrival it was determined that the driver had self rescued and he stated that he was alone in the car. A good Samaritan who entered the water to assist the driver also stated no other occupants were visible. The FD deployed rescue swimmers to search the partially submerged vehicle which came up negative.
