Two Dead in Toms River As Porsche Launches Into Second Floor of Building

A Porsche traveling at a very high rate of speed on the northbound side of Hooper Avenue launched itself into the second floor of a building in Toms River early Sunday morning.

Police say the vehicle lost control, hit the curb and flew into the second floor of the brick front office building causing major damage to the structure and killing both occupants in the vehicle.

Hooper Avenue was closed between College Drive and Indian Hill Road while police investigated.

A photo posted by WOBM shows the extent of the damage at the scene.
