K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital Patients Inspired by Batman Visit

Batman visited Hackensack Meridian Health K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital and toured the medical center, inspiring pediatric patients to never give up in their fight against cancer and other illnesses, on November 8. Texas Police Officer Damon Cole, from “Heroes and Cops Against Childhood Cancer,” played Batman. Officer Cole travels across the United States regularly, visiting hospitals dressed as one of sixteen different superheroes, with a mission to brighten the lives of children fighting illness.

Batman arrived at the children’s hospital, located on the campus of Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ, via NJ State Police helicopter, landing on the helipad used to receive patients being brought to the medical center’s Level II adult and pediatric trauma centers for emergency, lifesaving care.
