Cody Bondarchuck is being branded an American hero this week after his confession on Twitter that he put 11 nuggets in nearly every 10-piece order he made over the past two and a half years.
When asked about his heroics young Bondarchuk said he never came to face to face with those he served until after they realized their reward.
“The location was mostly drive-thru so not that I can remember, but I’d like to imagine they went home, saw the extra nug, and smiled a little,” he said.
He has become somewhat of an internet sensation this week.
Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear nametags, hairnets and sometimes even beard nets.
Some want to know where the McHero is working today…perhaps a bank?
It turns out Bondarchuk wasn’t the only hero fighting the man at McDonalds.
“I used to put seven in six packs when I was having a bad day to say FU to McDonalds. Looking back I see now I should have put seven in every pack. You have taught me a better way,” one user responded.
“I did a similar! McDonald’s milkshakes were sposed to weigh exactly 10 3/4 oz. I made some of them 11-12 oz because I’m that kinda girl,” another responded.
Some of Bondarchuk’s faithful subjects even thanked him for his heroism.
“This thread made me cry. I was the college student with work-study + 2 PT jobs who didn’t have enough. Slept in my car, showered at the gym & stole extra ketchup packets to make soup. The extra nuggets or fries made a huge difference,” another said.
