SHELBY, IOWA- Joe Biden, got a cold reception in Iowa at the Corn Stalk Diner while campaigning to be President of the United States. Biden approached an Iowa corn farmer watching football on tv and the farmer wanted no part of it.
Reporter Natasha Korecki documented the uncomfortable encounter.
“I ask the guy if he just wasn’t a fan of Biden’s and he says “who?” I say the former VP. The man, who farms in the Missouri Valley says he’s never heard of Joe Biden,” Korecki said. “He says “are you serious?” When I say he was Obama’s veep, I get an “ohhhhh. I’m not an Obama fan. This is Republican country.””
Needless to say, the odd encounter ended without a trademark Joe Biden uncomfortable embrace.
