Washington DC,United states,January 2020,United states President Donald Trump threatens Iran about war with US

WASHINGTON, D.C.-President Donald Trump signaled the confirmation of the death of Qassim al-Rimi, the Yemini leader of the Al Qaeda terrorist organization shortly after a senate vote to block more witnesses in his impeachment hearing was conducted.

Trump re-tweeted a Yahoo News report confirming a drone strike by the United States that killed one of America’s most wanted terrorists.

It was not the first time the U.S. had attempted to kill al-Rimi as he escaped several attempts in the past.  The U.S. had put a $10,000,000 bounty on his head.   al-Rimi founded Al Qaeda in Yemen in 2009.  U.S. officials believe he was the mastermind of the U.S. embassy attack in Sana’a in September 2008.
