Letter: Are area hospitals overcrowded, and short of supplies?

It has been reported that Community Medical Center has run out of N-95 masks for the working staff. The nurses, technicians. etc. are reduced to supplying their own, or possibly having to reuse what they have. Also the bed capacity is being seriously reduced due to the sheer volume of Covd-19 related patients, a full 2 floors of the hospital are dedicated to Covid-19 cases, bringing the question of “how much more can they handle?” Staff is working on extended shifts, lasting 14 to 16 hours. The morgue has also been reported to be at or near capacity.
This begs the question. Are the other area hospitals (Kimbal, Brick) experiencing the same or worse conditions?
