Jackson Republicans Praise, Endorse Murphy’s Law During COVID-19 Pandemic

JACKSON, NJ – Jackson Township Council President Barry Calogero and the Jackson Township Council have endorsed and praised a series of executive orders imposed by Democrat Governor Phil Murphy.

“This is not a time for partisan politics,” Calogero, who is a political appointee to the USDA.

“COVID-19 continues to spread across the State of New Jersey and increasing numbers of individuals require medical care and hospitalization, Governor Murphy issued further Executive Orders pursuant to his authority under the New Jersey Civilian Defense and Disaster Control Act and the Emergency Health Powers Act in order to protect the public health, safety and welfare against the emergency created by COVID-19,” read a resolution passed by the council.

Calogero, who has admitted he is at risk and suffers from Parkinson’s Disease said he and the council fully endorse the measures enacted by Murphy’s executive order.
