SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – There’s one thing that unites the New Jersey softball community and that is the passion of the girls, the coaches and parents in any private organization and public school team. Softball players in general have community service and support for their friends, neighbors and community drilled into them since they were small girls playing t-ball.
Now, one New Jersey High School Softball team, just waiting for the chance to play ball like thousands of other young women across America, took time to thank their local police department. The South Plainfield varsity softball team gave a great shoutout to their heroes in blue this week, along with firefighters and EMT services.
“We received this video from the SPHS Varsity Softball Team 🥎 and wanted to share with all of you. The girls should be in the middle of competing for a GMC title but they are stuck at home and took the time to thank the SPPD, South Plainfield EMS, and South Plainfield Volunteer Fire Department,” the department said.
