One Connecticut Mayor to Deploy Drones to Keep People out of Parks

Meriden, CT – As coronamadness sweeps governments and police agencies across America, one small town mayor in Connecticut is employing drones to keep people out of his town’s parks.  Mayor Kevin Scarpati of Meriden warned this week that police will be using drones to search for coronavirus violators in his town.

“The Meriden Police Department will begin utilizing new drone technology to closely monitor our trails and parks as they become more heavily utilized during the warmer and nicer days ahead,” Scarpati said.
