Doctor Sets Up Mobile COVID-19 Van to Bring Testing to Under Served Communities in New Jersey

EAST ORGANGE , NJ – See how one doctor invested $40,000 to bring COVID-19 testing to communities where statewide testing is not available, especially in minority and poor communities.

 

 

COVID-19 is disproportionately killing African Americans. To make matters worse, testing for the virus is scarce in poor, largely minority communities hit hardest by the virus. But one doctor in New Jersey is working to address that issue. Dr Alexander Salerno is offering mobile testing for COVID-19 infections from the back of his van.
