Casino Pier, Breakwater Beach: Still No Timetable From Governor About Amusement Rides

Seaside Heights NJ USA -- August 21 2017 -- People are walking along the Seaside Heights boardwalk on a hot summer day. Editorial Use Only.

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ – Summer is nearly here and the New Jersey amusement park industry still has no guidance or timetable from Governor Phil Murphy as to when rides, waterparks and amusement activities can resume in the Garden State.  For businesses such as Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach, each week of delay means another week without business.

“Hoping soon you all can “enter” again. We still have no timetable for when the Governor will allow us to open, but we’re still getting the rides ready for when we get the green light for you all to return,” the company said today on Facebook.
