Washington Nationals Fire Employee for Throwing Cups of Hot Coffee at Cashier

A Twitter video that surfaced last weekend shows Jazhiel Morel, administrator of the Washington Nationals’ training academy in Boca Chica, Dominican Republican throwing two hot cups of coffee at a cashier in a convenience store.    Morel was terminated by the team and turned himself in to police last Monday.

“The Washington Nationals learned of this horrific incident earlier today and immediately terminated the employee,” said Mike Rizzo, Nationals’ president of baseball operations . “We do not tolerate this type of behavior in our organization.”
