LBI Favorite Food and Ice Cream Destination, Dom’s Drive-In Shuts Down for Good

BEACH HAVEN, NJ – For 32 years, it was a family favorite stop for visitors and locals at the Jersey Shore, but on Monday, Dom’s Drive-In and Ice Cream shut its doors for good.  Dom’s was one of the last vestiges of twentieth-century Americana at the Jersey Shore.   It was a classic “roadside America” attraction.  Unassuming from the outside, but bursting with quality, pride and tradition on the inside, located on the Boulevard in Beach Haven.  “Dom’s Drive-In’s final days are approaching. Our last official day on LBI will be October 12th, 2020. Thanks to everyone for stopping by and telling your stories of such fond mem ories. We have been blessed with much success over the past 32 years and are so thankful for your business. Our staff hopes to see you all before we close our doors for good,” the restaurant said.  Over the weekend people came out to say farewell to the beloved roadside diner.
