Rehoboth Beach Man Broke Into Home, Beat Homeowners During Dispute

Rehoboth Beach- Delaware State Police arrested 27-year-old Kent M. Inaanuran (no picture available) of Rehoboth Beach on felony criminal charges.

On October 18, 2020, at approximately 4:22 p.m., Delaware State Police responded to Tradewinds Lane for a disorderly subject. Upon arrival to the residence, troopers could hear screaming coming from inside and observed a broken glass sliding door. Through the investigation, it was discovered Inaanuran became intoxicated while visiting acquaintances, and an argument ensued. When he stepped outside for a few minutes, he was locked out of the home, and he broke a glass sliding door to get back inside. Once inside, he discovered his acquaintances had locked themselves into a bedroom. Inaanuran broke open the locked bedroom door and physically assaulted the 41-year-old male, 24-year-old male, and 27-year-old male. The 41-year-old male was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. Inaanuran resisted arrest while being taken into custody and charged with the following crimes:

  • Burglary 1st Degree (felony)
  • Assault 2nd Degree (felony)
  • Criminal Mischief
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Offensive Touching (2 counts)

Inaanuran was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court #3 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $36,200.00 secured bond.
