Police: 5 Fatal Crashes in Virginia Beach in Past 30 Days

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – The Virginia Beach Police Department is asking its citizens and visitors to drive safely after reporting 5 fatal crashes in the past 30 days.

“In the last month, we have investigated 5 fatal crashes and 2 serious injury crashes. So far this year, there have been 20 fatal crashes resulting in 21 fatalities. Please be cautious while you’re driving and obey all traffic laws. We don’t want to knock on your family’s door next,” the Department said.

“Virginia Beach has seen its share of fatal or serious-injury car crashes recently. Remember to drive SOBER, obey the speed-limit, avoid distractions, and pay attention,” the Virginia Beach District Attorney’s Office said.
