Oregon Governor Kate Brown Tells Residents to Call Police If Neighbors Violate Rules on Thanksgiving

PORTLAND, OREGON – Oregon Governor Kate Brown urges residents to call 9-1-1 and report neighbors who are violating her new COVID-19 rules restricting how many people you can have at your home during Thanksgiving.
“This is no different than what happens if there’s a party down the street and it’s keeping everyone awake. What do neighbors do? They call law enforcement,” Brown said.
This week, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy enacted similar legislation capping home celebrations to 10 people.  One New Jersey police chief said “no way”.
