Man Trespassing at Spring Hill’s Westside Elementary Assaulted Deputy and Fled

SPRING HILL, FL Battery on LEO/Disruption of School Function/Trespass on School Property/Resisting Arrest – District 2/Zone 6 — A deputy at Westside Elementary confronted an individual who was trespassing on school property. The suspect was believed to be in possession of narcotics and battered the deputy prior to fleeing on foot. The suspect was located hiding in the women’s bathroom at a nearby grocery store. The suspect was taken into custody.
