21 Arrested in Months-Long Prostitution Operation in Anderson, SC

ANDERSON, SC –   During the past several months, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigation Division conducted an operation, investigating prostitution. Operation Square Dance was conducted utilizing Undercover Detectives, that posed as prostitutes or as “Johns” to apprehend the individuals involved in prostitution.   During this operation, a total of 21 individuals were arrested for offenses related to prostitution with some of the individuals being arrested multiple times. This operation focused in and around the Anderson area and included massage parlors as well as those “freelance” massage providers.
