Gunfire Erupts in New Haven on Thanksgiving, Two Shot

NEW HAVEN, CT – Thursday, November 26, just after 6:00 PM, New Haven Police and Fire responded to multiple 911 calls of gunfire and people shot on Cedar Hill Avenue and Grace Street.   Callers reported a gunshot victim in front of a house on Cedar Hill Avenue and a second gunshot victim in front of a nearby Grace Street home. Both were transported by AMR. A third gunshot victim was transported by private car.  The three gunshot victims are being treated for non-life threatening injuries at Yale New Haven Hospital. The three men are aged 25, 29, and 30 years old.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the New Haven Police Department at 203-946-6304. Callers may remain anonymous.
