Rochester Police warn motorists to watch for pedestrians during downtown holiday season, light show

ROCHESTER, NY  –  The Rochester Police Department is warning motorists to drive safely during the holiday season.  Motorcycle units will be watching to see who is naughty and nice on the roads as the holiday shopping season kicks off.  This motor unit was downtown Monday night doing selective enforcement.

“During this time of year there are a lot of pedestrians out and on the sidewalks enjoying the light show,” police said. “Please use extra caution and obey all traffic and safety laws. Do not block the intersections or crosswalks and remember to continue maintaining social distancing.”
