STOCKTON, CA – On December 2, 2020, at 3:13 p.m., the male victim, 20, was driving near Manchester Drive and El Monte Street when the suspects began shooting at his vehicle. The victim attempted to flee in his vehicle but drove into a building. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his non-life-threatening wound. The suspects were seen fleeing in a silver SUV. Officers located the suspect vehicle, which was occupied by one of the suspects. He was taken into custody and a firearm was recovered. Arrested was Tariq Shannon, 18, for assault with a deadly weapon and weapons charges. Outstanding suspect: Black male, 18-22. Police did not release the name of the suspect.
