Ohio Governor Issues Travel Advisory Asking Ohioans to Stay Home

COLUMBUS, OH – Ohio Governor Mike DeWine this week issued a travel advisory against Ohioans, ordering them to stay at home.

“This is the first week since April where Ohio’s positivity for COVID-19 has increased above 15%. Ohio’s travel advisory recommends Ohioans stay home except for necessary trips for supplies, as well as consistent mask-wearing and frequent hand washing,” Dewine said.

On Friday, Ohio reported 10,114 new cases, which is the highest number in over a week, and the 4th highest ever. Hospital admissions are at 392. Today is the third-highest day for deaths reported at 129.
