Watch: Business owner impacted by state shutdowns interrupts live news broadcast, “My government abandoned me”

A business owner interrupted a live television news broadcast in Michigan to rant about the failures of the local, state and federal government when it comes to small business and the COVID-19 pandemic.  “We’ve got a government that has taken the stimulus money, they gave it to special campaign donors, they gave it to special interests,” Morris said after he interrupted the news crew. “They abandoned me, and they have put me in a position where I have to fight back.”

““They want me to go down and be quiet and never hear from me again. I am not going to put up with it. It’s time to rise up. Shut it all down or don’t shut any of us down. That’s the only way to get control of a virus,” Morris added.
