Police report:

On 12/09/20 just before 7 pm our Street Crimes Unit observed a vehicle with a loud exhaust traveling on 422. This vehicle was part of an alert put out by Warren Police in reference to a female wanted in connection with shooting into an apartment in Warren. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of Walgreens on 422. A passenger lied to officers about her name but using the in-car computer our officers were able to determine her true identity. Garionna Freeman (age 19 Packard St Warren) was arrested on a Warren City PD warrant for Felony 2 Discharging a Firearm into a Habitation and a Falsification charge from Niles PD. This is the type of proactive policing that the unit does on a daily basis to make our city safer.
