Clearwater Police find man, seriously injured on Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard

CLEARWATER, FL – The Clearwater Police Department continues to investigate the incident that occurred Thursday morning at the intersection of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard and Old Coachman Road. An adult male was found seriously injured laying in the road at about 5:30 a.m. He was taken to Mease Countryside Hospital, then later transferred to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa for further treatment. He remains in critical condition this afternoon and his identity remains unknown. Detectives are still trying to determine how his injuries were sustained; anyone who may have seen anything around that time at that location should call us at 727-562-4242.
