LA firefighters battle house fire in North Hills

NORTH HILLS, CA  – Firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department did their best to save a home in North Hills.  On Saturday, December 12, 2020, LAFD firefighters were summoned to the 9800 block of North Noble Avenue at 10:01 AM for a structure fire. Twenty-six LAFD firefighters extinguished fire in the attic of a one-story single-family home in 19 minutes. Companies inside protected belongings prior to applying water, while firefighters above coordinated their ventilation efforts with fire attack crews below. The coordinated effort minimized damage from water, fire, and smoke. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Photos by LA Fire Dept.
