Portland shooting victim in critical condition after 60 rounds fired

PORTLAND, OR – The victim in Saturday’s shooting is in critical condition in an area hospital.  Detectives investigating the scene determined more than 60 rounds were fired during this incident.

On Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 12:01a.m., North Precinct officers responded to reports of shots heard in the area of Northeast Stafford Street and Northeast 11th Avenue. Officers arrived and located an adult male victim injured. Paramedics responded and the victim was transported to a hospital by ambulance. The severity of the injuries is not yet known.

Officers were unable to locate the shooting suspect or suspects. Detectives are responding to investigate.
