CAPE CORAL, FL – Tis’ be the season, yar. Porch pirates are running rampant across America stealing your goods from your front loading dock and if you’re lucky you have a doorbell cam to capture the footage in hopes of seeing justice be served.
The Cape Coral Police Department is seeking tips for a “porch piratess” style theft that just occurred within the last few hours.
On December 15th, 2020 at around 12:45 pm, officers responded to the 4600 block of SW 7th Avenue in reference to package theft. A woman had been captured on the doorbell and home surveillance video taking a package from near the victim’s front door very shortly after its delivery. The package contained a coffee machine valued at approximately $600.
