Tip leads Jacksonville Police Officers to Child Cybersexploiter

JACKSONVILLE, FL – A Jacksonville area man is under arrest today after local police officials received a tip from North Carolina’s internet crimes against children task force. According to the Jacksonville Police Department, they were alerted to a Cyber Tip from the NC ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Task Force. JPD Detective Jason Griess launched an investigation with the assistance of the NC State Bureau of Investigation and the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office regarding the tip. As a result of the joint investigation, Anthony P. Littleton was arrested for 3 felony counts of 2nd-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Appleton is currently confined in the Onslow County jail under a $75,000.00 bond.

“The investigation into this cyber tip is still active and we anticipate additional charges in the near future”, said Captain Mike Capps, Investigative Services Supervisor.
