Another shooting in Baltimore, 28-year-old victim in serious condition at hospital

BALTIMORE, MD -On January 2, 2021 at approximately 6:43 a.m., officers responded to the 2100 block of W. North Avenue for a shot spotter alert.  Upon arrival, officers discovered evidence that discharging had occurred but no shooting victim had been located.  While canvassing, officers were dispatched to an area hospital where a shooting victim had recently walked in seeking treatment. Officers responded to the hospital and located a 28 year-old male who had been shot in his side. The victim is in serious but stable condition. Western District Shooting detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call (410) 396-2477 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup.
