Father killed his two young daughters in New Year’s Day murder suicide

COLUMBUS, OH – A man who shot his two young children in a New Year’s Day murder suicide has died after shooting himself, police said.   According to Columbus Police, on January 1, 2021, Columbus Police officers responded to 928 Muirwood Village Drive on a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, they were directed to 885 Danwood Drive. Upon arriving at this location, officers heard multiple gunshots coming from 885 Danwood Dr. Officers made entry & found the two victims, 6-year-old Alyse Williams & 9-year-old Ava Williams, suffering from gunshot wounds.
They also found the suspect, 32-year-old Aaron Williams, who was suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The suspect was later pronounced deceased at the scene at 11:32pm.
The two victims were transported to Doctor’s West Hospital and eventually succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased at at 12:07am & 12:43am.
This incident is still under investigation.

Williams’ mother, Donna Brodie said she was unaware of any issues that would have made Williams commit this heinous act against her grandchildren.

A GoFundMe page has been setup to help their mother pay for funeral expenses.
