New Jersey school teacher charged for sexual assault of child

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Thomas Mosier of the Piscataway Police Department announced today that a teacher at Leonard V. Moore Middle School of the Roselle School District was arrested on multiple charges involving the sexual assault of a minor who was known to him.

Harry Wyatt, 53, of Piscataway was arrested on December 24, 2020 and charged with one count of second-degree sexual assault, one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, and one count of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

The defendant is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center pending a Detention Hearing in Superior Court on December 29, 2020.

As is the case with all criminal defendants, the charges against Wyatt are merely accusations and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
