Two arrested for DWI in Providence, Richmond

RICHMOND, RI – On January 3, 2021, at 8:20 PM, Troopers arrested, Sherri A. Stanley, age 51, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs-1st Offense-Blood Results Pending and a 2.) Third Division District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review. The arrest was the result of the Hope Valley Barracks receiving multiple 911 calls for an erratic operator and a subsequent motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the Town of Richmond. Stanley was transported back to State Police Headquarters where she was processed and held overnight.

On January 3, 2021, at 10:49 PM, Troopers arrested Raymond Howard, age 42, of 26 Holman Street, Apartment B, Attleboro, Massachusetts, for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and or Drugs – First Offense (Phase I – .105, Phase II – .102) and 2) Possession of Marijuana – More than One Ounce. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the City of Providence. Howard was transported to State Police Headquarters for processing, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
