Delaware police seek man who is charged for stalking woman

NEWARK, DE – Court orders are really only pieces of paper and that’s what worries a Newark woman who is being stalked by a man against who she has a court order. In early January of 2021, a Newark resident reported to Newark Police that she has continued to receive multiple text messages from a male known to her, despite a court order in effect that prohibits the male from having contact with the victim. The male has been identified as Joshua Boyer, 33, who is last known to reside in Frankford, Delaware. On January 8, 2021, Newark Police obtained an arrest warrant for Boyer charging him with Stalking and Breach of Release. Anyone with information about Boyer’s location is asked to contact M/Cpl M. Fountain at (302) 366-7100 x. 3133 or mfountain@newark.de.us. Additional methods for providing information to Newark Police can be found on our tips page, where reward information may also be available.  Boyer is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
