14-Year-Old Boy Shot Walking Home From Grocery Store in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH –  On January 15, 2021 at 5:08pm, Columbus Police officers were dispatched to 2174 Middlehurst Dr. on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a 14-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower back. The victim was transported to a local area hospital in stable condition. He told officers that he was walking home from the market when a unknown person shot him. This incident is still under investigation.
