Honduras migrant in large caravan says “Joe Biden will give us 100 days” to get a better life

CENTRAL AMERICA – A migrant from Honduras making his way to America is searching for a better life for himself and his family.  He said he worked as a tour guide before the pandemic and in the wake of a hurricane, the Honduran government has done little to help the people on his home island of Roatan.  He said the caravan, several thousand strong, which violently broke through border security this weekend in Guatemala are hoping that President Joe Biden will help them.   The caravan is coming to America after Biden said he would halt deportations for 100 days once he takes office.

“The people want patient and a pass so that they can get to the U.S., Biden, He’s going to help all of us,” he said. “He’s giving us 100 days to get to the U.S. and give us a better life for our kids and our family,” he said.
