Concord Police, Firefighters Rescue Man from Canal

CONCORD, NH – Concord police and firefighters this weekend rescued a man who fell into a canal.

“Talk about being at the right place at the right time,” the department said.  “Our officers  responded to a report from a person who heard someone yelling for help on Mohr Lane this morning. The officers arrived and found a man who fell into a water canal.”

Concord Fire Department was dispatched and  lifted the man to safety. He suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital.

“Many thanks to our quick thinking community member who heard the cries for help, called us and directed officers to the right area,” the department said.
