MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – After finding a person dead in an apartment last night, detectives are conducting a death investigation in the 12000 block of Veirs Mill Road. At approximately 9:27 pm, the Emergency Communications Center (ECC) received a call for the report of an assault in an apartment located in the 12000 block of Veirs Mill Road. Officers responded to the location and located a deceased male inside the apartment with trauma to his body.
Detectives are investigating this death as a homicide. A suspect has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder. A press release with additional information will be issued once the victim’s family can be located and notified, police said.
