Man shot on Jarrett Street in Portland, near MLK Boulevard

PORTLAND, OR – The Portland Police Department is reporting a shooting in the city.

On January 25, 2021, at 11:14 a.m., officers from the North Precinct responded to a report of gunfire in the 400 block of Northeast Jarrett Street. Responding officers located an adult male who had been struck by gunfire. The subject was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Approximately 15 minutes later, an adult male subject walked into an area hospital with gunshot wounds that were non-life-threatening. Assault Detectives were notified and are responding to investigate. Northeast Jarrett Street was closed from Martin Luther King Jr. to 8th during the investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to please call the Portland Police at 503-823-3333 and reference case #21-22680.
