Two arrested in Visalia Burglary, Home Invasion

VISALIA, CA – Two suspects were arrested within minutes of police receiving a call for help after breaking into a home on West Modoc.  Police arrived to find the two men inside the home with the homeowner still inside.

According to police, on Wednesday at 6:24 a.m. officers responded to the 4900 block of W. Modoc for a burglary in progress. The victim advised dispatch that there were multiple subjects at the front door.

“A short time later, the suspects made entry into the home while the homeowner was still inside,” the department said. “Dispatch relayed information to officers who arrived within minutes and captured Christopher Miles (38) and Kimberly Elliott (40) committing the burglary. Both suspects were arrested and booked into jail for burglary and possession of narcotics.”
