High winds damage Panama City park, forcing closure

PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL – After high winds swept through the Florida panhandle on Tuesday, damage at Frank Brown Park was assessed and the park and baseball field have been closed.  Police say high winds on the beach tossed a lifeguard stand and damaged bleachers and fencing at Frank Brown Park. City officials have officially closed the park. There were no reports of injuries in the incident.  Photos by City of Panama Beach.
