Worcester police investigating shooting neat Patch Reservoir

WORCESTER, MA – The Worcester Police Department is investing a shooting that occurred last night at Patch Reservoir.

According to police,  at about 10:15 PM, officers were dispatched to an address on Patch Reservoir Drive for a report of a home invasion and shooting.

“Upon arrival, officers located the twenty-nine-year-old male resident, who was suffering from a serious gunshot wound,” the department said. “Officers rendered medical aid until paramedics responded and brought the victim to the hospital. Officers observed that the door to the residence had been forced open. Detectives arrived and processed the scene.”

The investigation is ongoing.
