Man shot in Parkrose recovering in hospital

PORTLAND, OR – A victim is in the hospital with serious injuries after a shooting in the Parkrose Neighborhood.

On Sunday, March 28, 2021 at 5:29a.m., North Precinct officers responded to a report of someone shot in the 9600 block of Northeast Sandy Boulevard. Officers located a victim, and adult male. Paramedics with Portland Fire and Rescue and American Medical Response treated the patient and he was transported to a hospital by ambulance. His injuries are serious but not believed to be life threatening.

Officers located a crime scene at Northeast 95th Avenue and Northeast Wygant Street. The Enhanced Community Safety Team (ECST) responded to investigate. No suspect information is being released at this time.
