Life back to normal in Texas as Rangers play to sold-out crowd

ARLINGTON, TX – The Texas Rangers have made history by playing the first major U.S. sporting event before a completely packed stadium. As life returns to normal in Texas, the country now watches to see if the event will be a super spreader as predicted by federal health officials and Democrats or if it will even register on the COVID-19 radar.

Texas last month dropped their mask mandate and reopened the state to pre-pandemic levels, drawing criticism from public officials, including President Joe Biden. It was the first time Texans got to watch a baseball game inside the newly built Globe Life Park. The stadium was used last year, but fans were not permitted. More than 40,000 fans attended the team’s opening day game. The Rangers lost the game 6-2 to the Toronto Blue Jays.
